Park News & Updates

PARK UPDATE: On Saturday, May 13 the Board met at the dog park to assess conditions and determined that, while drier than last weekend, it's still too soft for us to open. Spring has been odd this year, so it seems everything is a couple weeks behind. We're just as disappointed as you are, but hopefully the weather this week will give us the extra dry out time needed. We'll be monitoring things throughout the week and will open as soon as it's just a bit drier.

While at the park, the Board also decided to move forward with the installation of artificial turf on Tunnel Mountain. This decision comes with a hefty price tag of $3000, but guarantees us at least 10 years of use, so we need your help to make this happen. If you're interested in contributing, please consider making a donation and/or signing up for membership today! If you would like to sponsor this project (which will include naming rights - Fido's Mountain, anyone?), please contact us. We also plan to reach out to several local charitable foundations for assistance. If you live in Eastman, please let us know, as we plan to approach the Eastman Charitable Foundation and would love your support in doing so.
